Jennifer Lawrence reveals she got 'really drunk' before sex scene with Chris Pratt and felt wracked with guilt afterwards because he's married

Jennifer Lawrence has admitted she felt incredibly nervous and guilty about filming her first ever sex scene with married man Chris Pratt.

The Oscar-winner revealed in a new interview for The Hollywood Reporter that she had to drink to cope with the intimate on-screen moment while shooting their upcoming movie Passengers.

'I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, "What have I done? I don't know." she said.

And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach.

'And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, "Will you just tell me it's OK?" It was just very vulnerable.

The actress explained the struggle she felt between making the scene as realistic as possible and her awareness of how wrong it felt with a married man.

Jennifer explained: 'And you don't know what's too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then … That was the most vulnerable I've ever been.

'It was weird. And everything was done right; nobody did anything wrong. It's just a bizarre experience.'

Passengers is released December 2016 and stars Jennifer and Chris as a duo who find love on a spacecraft traveling to a distant colony transporting thousands of people.

In the November 27 issue of The Hollywood Reporter Jennifer joined Kate Winslet, Jane Fonda, Carey Mulligan, Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Helen Mirren and Charlotte Rampling for the magazine's annual Actress Roundtable.

Their chat covered subjects such as pay inequality between men and women and what they'd be doing if they weren't actresses.

The women are photographed for the front cover of the publication where they are described as 'the great eight.'
