Under Klopp, Liverpool has three wins, three draws and one defeat. The loss also ended Liverpool longest unbeaten run — 12 matches — since September 2013.
Palace went ahead in the 21st through Yannick Bolasie after slack defended allowed the visitors their first shot on target.
Philippe Coutinho equalized for Liverpool 3 minutes before the break with his third goal in two games — after an assist from Adam Lallana.
Palace climb above Liverpool to go 8th  with 19 points.
It was Palace's third successive league victory over Liverpool in a game of end to end attacking.
Liverpool defence was at fault for the opening goal as Alberto Moreno's initial weak tackle allowed Wilfried Zaha to get the ball on the right and his cross was virtually teed up for Bolasie by Emre Can.
The hosts' right flank has looking their best avenue of attack and that is where the equalizer came from. Lallana's backheel of Nathaniel Clyne's cross did just sufficient to divert the ball away from Palace's defenders and into the path of Coutinho, who bent in a shot at the far post.
The last half-hour felt like a cup tie with both sides going for the win as Klopp sent on the attack-mind Roberto Firmino for Can and switched to a 4-1-4-1 formation.
Jason Puncheon tested Simon Mignolet from distance and Palace winner came when Dann's first header from Yohan Cabaye's corner was parried by the goalkeeper and the defender nodded in the rebound.
